The St Werburghs Arts Trail is held every year over the last weekend of September and is a chance for artists, craftspeople and performers from St Werburghs and elsewhere to share their work with their neighbours and community.

You don’t have to be established or a professional; we welcome anyone with artwork they would like to share to either open up their home to the trail or display work in one of the community venues. If you would like to share a skill you can run a workshop and we offer a small grant to cover your costs.

There is usually a mix of painting, drawing, illustration, ceramics, wood work, glass work, jewellery, clothing, furniture and various crafts, but any medium or style is welcome, and you can of course sell your work.

The trail takes place throughout St Werburghs, with artwork and performances in community venues, artist’s studios, pubs, churches, people’s homes and other venues. There is live music from local performers in the pubs and around St Werburghs over the course of the weekend.

We require a registration fee from artists to cover the costs of running the trail, but if you are performing or only running a workshop you can register for free. If you would like to display or sell your work as an artist and also run a workshop, you will need to pay the usual artist fee.
